COUNTRY BUNGALOW
This country bungalow needed an overhaul to make space for a growing family. By removing the walls dividing the main floor and moving a stairway that prevented open concept living, we were able to give this family everything they wanted. The new layout made the main floor open and bright, and the modern and classic finishes made it the perfect balance of cozy and chic.
PROJECT SUMMARY
Our goal was to reconfigure the main floor for a more open space, suitable for a growing family. We wanted a more modern space and new finishes.
We relocated the stair to allow for open concept living on the main floor. The new central fireplace gives definition to the space and allows for a private entrance to the master suite. The kitchen remained and now feels much more spacious.
The master suite was totally reconfigured and the bedroom now takes advantage of the wonderful view of the property. The new larger ensuite accommodates a two-person shower, freestanding tub, and private water closet.
The basement originally had smaller rooms and awkward hallways. The theatre space is now open to the new bar and pool table space. Relocating the stair allowed for a fantastic space for entertaining, while maintaining privacy to the bedrooms.

PROJECT OUTCOME
We succeeded in creating an open concept home while maintaining privacy for bedrooms. The home has multiple entertaining areas and takes advantage of the lovely views of the property.
